Dynamic browser update

Postby aaazen » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:20 am

The ip address of a host 'A' record can be changed from a browser using information from this link:

http://www.namecheap.com/support/knowle ... e-hosts-ip

But I would like to update a dns TXT record using a web browser.

Does anyone know how or if this can be done?

I am trying to dynamically create a TXT spf record.

This is no longer an issue as I figured out a "static" version of the TXT record I wanted to update.

But I am still curious if anyone has solved this.

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to update a TXT/SPF record dynamically as described here. It can only be done when you have A record to be updated.
